Day 7 - Chargers

Day seven of the challenge. The last day in the fire zone.

This morning, I wasn't awakened by the usual sunbeams in my living room but by the alarm reminding me it was time for the gym. With an upcoming trip to Brazil and an important milestone (my 40th birthday!) around the corner, I'm motivated to work on my health and fitness. It's a new challenge, especially since my weight and body have always been remarkably stable. Adjusting and creating new habits is a journey and not always easy, especially when it's outside your comfort zone.

Being Who You Are: Letting Go and Renewing

My background in astrology emphasizes the importance of being authentic and letting go of what no longer serves us. This is the essence of my work and courses: allowing yourself to create a home that truly fits you, free from old habits you might have embraced as part of your identity, which holds you back.

Breaking Habits: Clearing Out Chargers

A specific habit we face today is holding onto chargers from devices we no longer use. Like instruction manuals – many of us have a collection of devices we've long since parted with, even though these manuals are available online. It's time to make space for what truly matters.

Plan for Organising Chargers:

Step 1: Gather All Cables and Chargers

Collect all cables, chargers, and related accessories scattered throughout your house. Please place them in one spot, such as a table or the floor, so you have a clear overview of what you have.

Step 2: Sort and Decide

Go through each cable and charger. Decide if you need it. Keep what you regularly use, as well as a spare for items you frequently use or that are special for particular devices. Anything remaining that is not used can be recycled or donated.

Step 3: Label Your Cables

Use labels or tape to mark what each cable or charger is for. This makes quickly finding what you need easier without digging through wires.

Step 4: Choose a Storage Solution

Decide whether you want a box, drawer, or another storage solution for your cables and chargers. Ensure this solution fits the space you have and is easily accessible.

Step 5: Organize and Store

Neatly roll up each cable and secure it with a cable tie or Velcro. Then, place each cable and charger in the chosen storage solution, with labels visible. Try to group cables by type or use them to make them even more organized.

Step 6: Regular Maintenance

Make it a habit to review and organise your cables and chargers collection regularly. This will prevent the collection from getting out of hand again and ensure you only keep what you need.

Reflection and Action

Breaking old habits and introducing new ones is essential for personal growth. Whether health, household management, or simply managing our belongings, every step forward is a victory.

Let's take this small but meaningful step to a tidier and more organized life.

With warm regards and the courage to change,

Roxy

P.S. Remember, at the end of our challenge, a special surprise awaits one lucky participant: a cleaning package worth €100 and access to my exclusive course 'REORGANISE'!

Disclaimer: About Body Image and Health

When I share my personal experiences with my body and health, I speak strictly from my perspective. It's important for me to emphasize that I love my body exactly as it is. However, like many, hormonal changes, especially around significant life milestones, affect my body in ways that I try to understand and learn to manage.

My primary motivation behind sharing my journey toward a more active and possibly differently structured life is my desire to grow older, healthy, and vital. This is a personal choice, driven by my values and goals, and is not intended to promote body shaming or impose norms on others.

Everyone has a unique body and challenges, and each path to health and well-being is personal. My story is just one of many, and I encourage everyone to do what's best for their health and happiness, with love and acceptance for themselves.
